Prince George offers unparalleled access to outdoor recreation. The Fraser and Nechako rivers are focal points of an extensive park and trail systems. There are more than 100 parks and green spaces that comprise an area about five times the size of Vancouver’s Stanley Park. From Fishing to Mountain-biking to everything else imaginable, find more to explore than you can possibly take in.
Did someone say day trip? Prince George has a lot of great things to offer, and that includes the abundance of lakes in and around BC’s Northern capital. There are many essential summer lake destinations that you must add to your bucket list; Purden Lake, Shane Lake, Ferguson Lake, Summit Lake, and Bear Lake are only a few.
Do you love the outdoors? Some amazing adventures that are close to the Prince George area are the, Ancient Forest Trails, you can Hike to the top of the Teapot Mountain, explore War Falls, or Hixon Falls or just hike the Fort George Canyon Trail. These are only a few scenic trails that take you through the beautiful northern landscape.
